Mennonite Church USA Convention 2017 in Orlando

July 4-8, 2017

In the summer of 2017, Mennonite Church USA will be meeting in Orlando, FL. The theme is “Love is A Verb”. We will be leaving July 3rd and returning July 9th!

We spent an enormous amount of fellowship time with other fellow Anabaptist Christians. Through worship, through service projects, through friendly competition in the Rec Hall, and through the various seminars we attended, we were able to hear different points of view. We all come to faith on different paths, but once we get there, we see that there are others walking the same path as us. This gives us an opportunity to love others the way God loves us; the way Jesus showed us to love others.

“Bridges to the Cross”

The theme verse for the convention 2011 was:

2 Corinthians 5:16-20

“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.  We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
